| In order to get back into DE I picked these models up second hand. Some need replacement parts and most are repaints since whatever the person used won't strip away. First up my Vect model (waiting to be renamed) " /> " /> How do you make spoiler tags? | |

| Spoiler tags: In the options there's a button that looks like a box with a strike-through, half of it slightly faded. Alternatively, put whatever you want hidden in the code (hide) (/hide) but with [] instead of () obviously (though to be honest, if this is a Project Log, why bother hiding it?)
Looking good so far. That staff does look a little too big, but then for Vect I suppose he wants something ridiculous. If Final Fantasy teaches us anything, its that swords are better when they;re larger than their wielder.... Definitely a good start. | |

| I'm not sure I like that for the scepter myself, it was cobeled together with what I had on hand. | |

| Oh good. Wasn't sure what was yours and what was already there or anything. Yeah, if I were you I might make it a tad smaller. The overall length is fine, but the massive spikes at the top end are a bit much. | |

| I really like the skull on it, just wish I could remember where I got that bit. When I find something better to use for the scepter he'll get redone. I'm not a fan of the static pose of the archon model. | |

| Could the skull be one of the Archon's original heads? Looks a bit like it. | |

| So here's the first part of my March vow, 4 blasterborn [url= And a bonus for you guys, their venom is also done [url= [url= Now I'm not sure what happened but I hit the venom with gws purity seal and it left a white residue all over the venom. Since that happened I've opted not to use it till I can figure out how to avoid it happening again. | |

| Mmm I'd suggest Vallejo Matte Varnish spray _________________ "Cruel fantasies of someone's dreams...that's what we are; They call us forgotten tears 'cause no eyes cried for our griefs" Synthoras, Archon of the Forgotten Tears

| I have had the dreaded white misting before with gw purity seal. You can get rid of it by covering the model with gloss varnish. It usually happens because therein a little moisture in the air which reacts to something in the spray. I never use gw purity seal now as it has happened to me a few times with various batches of spray. If you want an alternative I have tried army painter Matt spray which is very good, testors dull-coat is excellent but this is a lacquer so will need a gloss varnish first if you want protection. I personally use Vallejo Matt varnish from the dropper bottles and brush varnish everything as there is almost no chance of anything going wrong this way. | |
