I am now at the point where collecting bits in individually labeled clear plastic bags is counter-productive.  I spend too much time hunting for bits.  I am hoping for some ideas to make my bits box more useful.

What do you use and what makes it work for you?  Is a clear fishing tackle box or a small tool box a good answer?  Is there something better out there?

A clear fishing tackle box is what i use. I have one for each army i collect. You can pick them up at pound shops and the like for petty cheap

I have various non systems, but the best is a screw bits box with individual removable inner compartments and a clear lid.

Fishing tackle boxes are good too

A clear-plastic flat box with inner compartments, for sorting various fasteners or fishing tackle.

Usually $4-$5 from any decent-sized hardware store. Maybe 12" x 18", often big enough for one army.

Yeah, that does the job perfectly well for me.

Ditto, cept mine has a couple of deeper trays too for larger pieces.

One day I'll actually get round to putting stuff in there instead of just keeping them in a spare lid from a raider kit...

I like to use the boxes that come from all the GW finecast kits. I have a few old ones that are really great, and they have multiple slots to put bits into
