so from another thread i got the idea of a medium size squad 6-8 TB in a raider with 3 blasters and a shredder and than hw grenades. i see them hitting flanks and rear echelon units after being dropped off in heavy terrain aka ruins, forest or some sight blocking terrain or simply dropped off from a good but risky deep strike behind the target (duke). or against close range armies being placed in similar features on your half as out of direct path speed bumps aka second level of a building instead of first. against horde armies they could fair ok dealing with their share of big squads i feel it would be worth it against tanks i would just worry about marines and crons shrugging of the losses and winning in cc or mowing them down in cc maybe for synergy have the raider have a diss to help deal with smirfs and their cousins. do you guys think they will just get swept by air cav or basic fire to quick to kill 150 points as i see a raider making it points back on its own given there are no blasters in the basket to attract fire.

this would be in a kabalite warrior minded list thus mixing the blasters and haywire grenades and why i wouldnt just take a small wych squad and a small blaster born squad.

I was thinking about something a little similar - specifically in trueborn with HW grenades used with the duke. Splinter weapons out the biscuit in a venom, plus duke. They swing around the side; splinter something to hell which the duke has split off to charge, and they go prowling around causing nonsense to infantry with their 3+ splinters or - if really needed - they can take out armour with their HWGs. From a very compact unit I think you could really mess up an opponents back line or at least give them a headache dealing with it. This is for a smaller list, mind - I don't think it would work at 1.7+. Not sure if it will work at all, to be honest.
