1. Glue?
2. Magnetize?
3. Non of it and hope for the best?

I've just assembled my first 3 reaver jet bikes and I just LOVE them!!
I'm having trouble decide if I should magnetize the flying base or not though. The ball joint makes it way easier to pose the jet bike in a more dramatic pose than if I'm just going to fill the gap with GS and glue on a magnet.

How do you guys do?

I did magnets as the bases always break for me after 1 2 2 uses otherwise.

Glue or magnet is the way to go.

I have all my flying bases magnetized. For me it is mostly about fitting everything into cases for transport. It makes that sooooo much easier. Also, the socket on my very first skimmer, a raider, loosened so much that the model would flop forward immediately when I put it together. I thought about adding some glue to the ball end to tighten the joint but didn't want to risk overdoing it. The magnet went on easily (I cut off the top half of the ball to give the magnet the max gluing surface) and I love how simply it goes together and comes apart. I magnetize everything on a flying base now.

The magnet also makes it very easy to make a skimmer into a wreck, simply remove the base and set the skimmer down.

I haven't had problems with the newer style flying bases snapping, though I think using Battlefoam trays have really helped out with this as much as the new design. I agree that being able to remove the stand makes representing wrecks easier.

Dont magnetize the bases, but I do magnetise special weapons on the Reavers, Fliers and Raiders.
