I've just undercoated my first batch of models. Given they're Dark Eldar and I wanted a dark colour scheme, I naturally primed them in black. I was looking at midnight blue/teal for the focus of the colour scheme.

Now, the more experienced of you have likely already guessed my problem: such dark colours don't show up so well on black. So, is there any tips and tricks you guys know of to get dark colours to stand out more on a black undercoat? The only thing I can think of is to base the areas I want blue/teal with white.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
