so i need to tweak it a bit i think but the test games ivehad with it have done very well against the new chaos marines.

Haemonculus: Hexrifle, venom blade. 70

Truebornx10: 4 blaster, 2 splinter cannon, 4 shardcarbines. 220
Raider: night shield. 70
Truebornx10: 4 blaster, 2 splinter cannon, 4 shardcarbines. 220
Raider: night shield. 70

Warriorsx10 splinter cannon. 100
Raider: night shield, Splinter racks. 80
Warriorsx10 splinter cannon. 100
Raider: night shield, splinter racks. 80
Warriorsx10 splinter cannon. 100
Raider: night shield, splinter racks. 80

Ravager: NIght shield. 115
Ravager: NIght shield. 115

Reaversx3: Heat lance78

1498pts

so generally the haemonculus starts with the reavers and gives them the pain token and sits in cover trying to kill things with a hex rifle.

warriors go for objectives and light infantry or weight of fire on heavy infantry, trueborn go for heavy infantry and vehicles, ravagers and raiders go for vehicles.

I'm not a fan of the mixed purpose Trueborn. You've kitted them out for both AI and AT but that just means that you're wsting half their firepower each turn. I'd drop them down to just 4 blasters each squad and use the extra points for another Ravager or some more Reavers. Or maybe some Wracks to sit with your Haem on an objective.

I'm really worried about your sniping Haemonculi, I'd pull some points out of your trueborn squads and add in some wracks(with a hexrifle) or grots for your haemonculus to hide in after your pain token hand off.

How do the Splinter Racks do for you?
My experience they have proven inefficient for their points cost. Also mind you, I save more flickerfield/ jink saves than i do Dodge invuln saves.

I also feel that the reaver squad is 'really' little, i know that is a thing here on the boards, but a squad of 3 of anything scares me.

2 cents

Tiny squads of Reavers tend to be a lot more survivable than tiny squads of anything else, as their turbo boost and assault move lets them redeploy easily, but I've found squads of three just don't really do very much. They'll last for a while, but one heat lance shot isn't going to scare your opponent much.

I've just expanded my squad of three to a squad of six, with two sets of caltrops, two heat lances and an arena champion, the idea being that they can boost over everything to get into the enemy deployment zone, damaging a unit as they do, then nip around popping vehicles or finishing off the weakened squad if the mood takes me. I know a lot of people would say that it's splitting the purpose of the squad or investing too many points in the unit, but I don't see the point of boosting into an advantageous position and either not doing potentially loads of damage to a boosted enemy unit or not threatening armour. They're like the vanguard class in Mass Effect, boosting across the battlefield and then destroying something expensive. And besides, if they're boosting, they're not shooting, so might as well have caltrops, even if it's only for one or two turns.

Wracks are great as well, and give you another scoring option, plus they're pretty durable with a haemonculus. Those Trueborn squads are incredibly expensive too, and I'm not sure the shardcarbines bring much more killing power than rifles with splinter racks, which would save you a few points straight away. The splinter cannons don't bring much either as they should be moving all the time since they don't have a flickerfield. Although two squads of ten seems like a lot of Trueborn anyway, however you arm them. As your army is very kabal heavy, it might be fun to add Duke Sliscus in somewhere to upgrade your poison weapons (and give you some kind of combat ability, albeit not much). Re-rolling 3+ poisoned shots? Nice Twisted Evil

the trueborn are very expensive though they arent really a mixed purpose unit i use them for heavy infantry, mixed save units and only against a vehicle if nothing else is there as an option.

ive found the splinter racks have definitely made their worth as long as i can keep in range but out of charge the single shots reroll is great for slowly whittling big units with the option to go in close and double tap.

the shardcarbines keep the threat range of the unit limited to 2 ranges 36 and 18 which i already not a huge fan of but as the cannons have the assault fire option im ok with that.

the haemonculus is very vulnerable and as he is a vp it is easy to keep him in a position to tempt people to come to him although the fact that he is essentially a free vp worries me a bit. though not sure what i would do except swap out the reavers( who are more in there because i couldnt think of much else) for some wracks to sit around my deployment.

id love the duke and he is great for this type of list but without losing alot of points in the trueborn it wont happen.

will look it over to see if i can find a way for the duke but im not hopeful.

but will probably drop the reavers for some wracks to keep the haemie company
