@Ruke: I actually disagree with your razorwing statement. I usually keep this sucker in reserve and when he showes up I mark an infantry unit to die... and then it usually dies. Now, the first few turns the rest of the army is on AT duties trying to make all the squishy cargo disembark, and then you mop up, so even after the missile volley the razorwing can still go on targetting squads, and with the AP2 weapons its great against terminators, feel no pain units, small marine units... all in all its AI capabilities continue to be of use. Now, this does leave the issue of the blasterborn. I have used the unit a few times and they do OK, but so far this list has been able to cope in an AT capability against various opponents.
I have been pondering the list in my head and I think I will be doing these changes:
- Drop Arena champ, split RJB into 2 squads.
- Drop one liquifier on a heamy.
- add 2 wyches, bringing both squads up to 9, making the most out of the pain tokens.
This then also brings the list up to 1500pts flat.
