Today my Archon killed...

Yesterday the unthinkable happened. My deathstar archon (Huskblade, shadowfield etc) and his incubi retinue were rushing towards the Tau front line. A single Tau Firewarrior, whilst running away shot at the venom, penetrated and blew it up. The explosion wounded all 5 of the passengers. All 4 Incubi failed there 3 up save. The Archon failed his two up and was left standing in the open. A single rail gun then ended his short reign of terror. #Dicearestupid

I've always read about people saving an insane amount of wounds on a Shadow field but never had it happen. But today I saved well over 30 saves. The Tau player threw pretty much everything he had but my Archon just ate it all up. It was awesome! Twisted Evil

With 4 Incubi, 10 assault marines, 10 Necron Triarch Praetorians, 6 Veteran Vanguards, then took 3000 points worth of shooting aimed at him from all the Necrons and remaining marines. Failed one save which just happened to be strength 9 instant killing him before he charged 10 immortals Sad

I have some positive news, My archon took out a blood angels tactical jump squad by himself along with the warlord and 2 characters in it. Its nice to feel like a tough guy in paper armor sometimes.
EDIT: Having +1 str combat drug came in handy.

After a long time of trial and (rather lethal) error, Lady Talari Baliarstil has defeated an Avatar of Khaine in a duel and trapped the soul within her soul trap. This was celebrated by demolishing a squad of ten enemy Kabalite warriors, crushing them with her newfound strength. Oh, there were also a few Incubi around to cheer her up while she cackled like a maniac and slashed her huskblade left and right.

This weekend my Archon killed a Landraider and 3 Paladins.

Threw my HWG at the LR and missed so I charged, hit the stationary landraider, 6 on HW, 6 on Pen chart. LR Explodes and my Archon soaks the damage with SF and then gets shot and charged by the Paladins again soaking the damage and takes first turn with a HuskBlade and kills more than half the unit.

Blaster/venomblade archon killed tigerius and some sternguard with the help of some blasterbros in shooting and assault when tigerius charged and challenged the archon.

Rematch game, tables were turned as the same thing happened but after 2 rounds of challenge my archon failed his shadowfield and the moral support reroll (dark eldar are not very sincere at cheering), got force weaponed and the trueborn ran off the board. Cowards! Tigerius was then downed by a single warrior shooting from maximum range be cause he had perils'd himself twice earlier. Promotions!

Well, my Archon didn't manage to accomplish really stunning feat of killing, but he pretty much deadlocked the squad of 10 immortals with Stormlord, Mini-Lord, and Vanguard Obyron. Necrons fell to his huskblade en masse, but their reanimation protocols kept them alive. But over the course of 5 phases only Stormlord and 4 immortals left of original squad, then game ended on turn5 before archon managed to finish the bloody job.

My Archon and his 4 incubi killed 10 chaos marines, 5 Chaos terminators, and a chaos lord.

Mostly impressive because he only had a Venom Blade and Haywire Grenades. Not even Ghostplate.

today my Archon killed a blood angels captain and priest and thanks to the soul trap ended up at S10 but his body guard of incubi died around him and he had to join the unit of wyches that had tag teamed the assault.

unfortunately next turn, despite needing only roll a 6 or better for their charge range, they failed and got to stand in the open and die from a horrendous amount of shooting.

Baron Sathonex takes on 17 Kroot and 2 Kroot hounds by himself... Kills three, takes one wound himself and looses his shadow field. The Kroot fail their leadership test and the Baron wipes them off the table. Go Baroni.

My Archon killed a Greater Demon of Tzeentch then went on to kill a greater demon of Khorne.

2 CC phases each before killing them. the clone field saved his butt.
