Today's Faction Focus is 1k Sons, and there are a couple rules tidbits in there:
https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/07/01/faction-focus-thousand-sons/

Psyker units cannot use powers after falling back.

Big change to the Supreme Command Detachment. It's only used for bringing in a 'Supreme Commander' unit, like a primarch. However, since the SUPREME COMMANDER keyword is also noted in additon to PRIMARCH and DAEMON PRIMARCH, it might give some hope that Vect is on the table for release at some point, since he is our obvious 'Supreme Commander' unit.

It only says the unit cannot perform a Psychic ACTION, psychic powers could still be doable

And if you don't have anything do deny psychic powers you're giving your opponent VPs

It states later in the playtester commentary that units can no longer cast psychic powers after falling back.

I'll waith the 5 base statagem to think if is better star with 8 cp..and take my main sperhead BH a witch cult or coven patrol and a harlequin patrol..i think skyveawer are still an optimum choice ..with the +1 to Invulnerability and sombre sentinel mask.
And in this manner i can use a shadowseer as psycher for a better objective choice..
still thinking about it..moumble..the real pain for me is losing one ravager..and my 18 reaver painted Sad

Nevermind the crap from today, meaningless info. What's more important is this Blood of Kittens leak on FB for the upcoming points changes for SM.

This should frame some ideas around your head for changes to come for our Eldar factions:

... the Supreme command detachment is kind of a slap in the face for us ... if the rule of 3 still applies here ( can only select a maximum of 3 detachments ) and we actually get a lord of War choice (and if vect is the obvious one) then to play him you are being forced into a mono Kabal BH Battalion (his bonuses will more than likely be for Black Heart forces only ... maybe MAYBE cult of strife as well as he and Lelith work together often ) or we start down 2 cp to bring in a second patrol to have a little bit of variety in our list

ok this is pure speculation but you might be on to something here that Vect might add bonuses to Cult of strie, might add up with the latest rumor engine if that is indeed a new Lelith model they might be pushing for Kabal/cult combos?

...yeah on second thought reading the above the mere thought that i had that we might get not one but TWO new models is totaly ridiculous lol

Edit: on Third thought, IF we get a Vect model i think his bonuses will be Drukhari wide i cant think of anyone not being motivated by having the living muse on the battlefield fighting alongside ^_^

I mean all of this would add up. Also it would explain why they pushed cult units in the faction focus that much. I be optimistic here and see a nice release package for Drukhari in the near future. Probably Leilith, Vect and perhaps Mandrakes and the Court units.

It's way too early to start being concerned about the rules for a potential Dark Eldar supreme commander. They might wind up just being in an HQ slot anyway which means it would be simple to slot them into a Raiding Force.

Don't forget that Lelith ran off with the Ynnari so if this is a model for her, it'll probably be advertised as adding to the Ynnari storyline like Drazhar and Jain Zar were in phoenix rising. For whatever that's worth...

So the new Supreme Command Detachment has a new unit type Supreme Commander. On Signals from the Frontline today they were asked who the Supreme Commanders are. They responded with our lips are sealed, but just think about who each factions Supreme commander would be, you can guess.

I will call it now, we get Vect back when the next Codex drops.

Some things I noticed from the big rulebook leak:

Insane Bravery is limited to one use per battle.

Command Re-roll only affects certain types of rolls, as it does in Kill Team, and, like Kill Team, you reroll the entire roll, and not necessarily one die.

While the specific page that defines 'engagement range' is missing from the leak, it does not that, when choosing which models that can fight in the fight phase, you can select models that are either within engagement range, or models that are within 1/2" or other models that are within 1/2" of enemy models. This leads me to suspect that engagement range in 9th might be 1/2" rather than 1".

So after a quick skim through:
- Assault weapons are still inferior Rapid Fire weapons.
- Pistol weapons are still absolute garbage.
- Grenades are still one-per-unit.
- Transport rules are still awful.
- Psychic phase still involves zero strategy.
- Choosing a unit to fight still magically makes a unit on the other side of the field fight more slowly.

Well I don't know about you guys, but I'm feeling hyped.

Well this really has me hyped.

read all some nice changes..
fighting start after charge from defending player a great things.
the biggest problem who start first..now is a better sequence..after deploy roll so not deploy with a conviction of start first or last.
and rules of three...this seem missing..I'll whait the complete manual..if..we can do even in torunament i can imagine a two patrol of BH love for it..and 4 ravager ^^

Holy mother of god that nerf to transports.

Disembark still occurs before movement, and disembarking units count as having moved.

Looks like Wyches are only reliably getting into combat T3. Neutral

They can still move like 8th. They can just never count as stationary. The last paragraph provides the detail.

Yeah, they basically only lost 1" of distance.

The most salient takeaway for me is that maximum detachment numbers are unaffected. So, despite our Raiding Party rule, we're still boned, and mixing our demifactions is still a pain in the heinie.

I'm fine for now, but when our 9th dex comes out then i'll be mad if we are armies again without any way to keep traits while mix and maxing.
