| What size are the bases? 40m? They look fairly big compared to our old ssylth. Still options are nice. | |

The Witch Elves next to them take 25mm bases, so I'm pretty sure they're on 40mm ones. Won't know for sure until next weekend (when they go up for preorder), though.

| If they cost less than 20 bucks a pop I’ll pick some up. I like that they get different poses and don’t mind my sslyth being half humanoid as opposed to full sslyth _________________ “No. Stop. Don’t go in there. You’ll all be killed,’ Motley murmured sardonically”

| They look great for conversions. But they are big, cool and with a double kit, therefore I strongly doubt they will be cheap.
Hope sslyth will be good in the new codex: I’d love to have a good reason to pick up these ladies.

| I already own 6 sslyth and I'll probably get a box of these to serve as my Succubus' "Court". Though it would be hard to 4 arm them with the spears and bows I should have enough witch elf knife arms to attach at the shoulder to the bow arms with a little green stuff and viola.
Heads up to anyone thinking of kitbashing. If the arms are like the witch elf arms than regular wych arms will look large next to them. They are very slender. _________________ For Khaela Mensha Khaine!

| I find the lack of boobplate disturbing. This was an opportunity for me to make my court entirely out of snek waifu and they robbed me of it. _________________ Really terrible videos about tiny plastic space elfs intended to help you get gud scrub: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcZP8WGIhte5TmCWQXsZO4A

| While we're on this conversion topic I was thinking about transforming models and whether that kind of drastic mutation/shapeshifting would be something approptiate for Covens.
I'm also surprised GW hasn't jumped on the opportunity to sell us a box that legit only gives you half the model. I.e. a dual kit that makes the base and transformed version. Sure most would just proxy or kitbash them but some people will want both. _________________ For Khaela Mensha Khaine!

| Damn you for baiting me like this!
More seriously, they look cool if awkward. The poses feel kinda weird. Also, that picture is painful to look at.

| Personally I wouldn’t feel forced to add a second pair of arms. I think if you remove their speared arms and give them splinter carabine arms from scourges box, that’s more than enough... I mean, it’s pretty obvious for everyone they are going to be sslyths. Isn’t it? | |

Yeah, this is my plan for them. The only tricky part will be seeing how their shoulder joints are designed - the Witch Elves are slightly awkward to convert because of that.

| I think they look great. I have always been quite vocal about how I find Sllyth being full on snakes a bit meh...I just haven't ever been able to warm to the models at all. If Sllyth were half snake half humanoid then fantastic I would be all over that! | |

| Really? I found full on shakes to be visually distinct from anything else and thus interesting, but to each their own. _________________ For Khaela Mensha Khaine!

Both naga and yuan-ti would like to have a word with you.

| In 40k I meant.
Though on that note, the prominent role the Yuan-ti play on the latest hardcover does make these purchases dual purpose for me.

A snail with a cannon on his shell would be distinct I'm sure you would agree...it doesn't make it good though. I do think it would be quite cool actually but not in a DE army. The problem I have always had is that they are full on snakes wearing leather jackets shooting machine guns. The new models released this week show GW have given this unit a bit more thought than they gave Sllyth.

| I like sslyth model a lot. The problem is that it’s just one, it’s too expensive and it’s in “crapcast” | |
