BAO - Anyone here attend?

Any denizens attend the BAO? Would be interested to hear your experiences!

I went. I dominated the games I won, got my ass kicked the games I lost. Hordes are really tough for us, Mech lists are butter. Had a ton of fun. There were 4 Drukhari players that I know of. 3 of us went 3-3, I dont know about the other guy.

My list was.

2 Haemoncs, Liquifier and Electro Whip

1 Archon

2 units of Wracks, Acothyst has Liquifier and Whip

1 unit of 6 Kabalites in a raider

2 units of Trueborn Blasterborne, 4 Blasters, 1 Blast pistol

2 Tantalus

3 Ravagers

1 Aeldari army in the top 15 (Craftworld Ynnari).

Alan Bajramovic and his Razorwing Flock Ynnari list didn't make the grade.

So much for DE and Harlequins being the best armies in 8e!

I dont want to run the "best" army. We have less people playing DE and Harlies than Ynnari. Just less chances for us to get to the top. In the hands of the right general we should should come out on top every once in a while. Hopefully no faction is too strong and we get different armies in the top all the time. Alan dropped out after his first game and took is Razorwing Flock spam home. You gotta play to win.

Ok, I guess we are now in the appropriate Forum.

I'd love to go some year, but it's a 1700 mile drive for me.

Someday... (maybe when I can figure out a way to write it off as a work trip...)
