PGL? Why? - Page 2 Empty

Remember its main benefit is the -1Ld modifier if it so much as hits, you don't need to Wound. It's an extra model if you fire at something already taking a Morale check at the end of the turn. Personally I reckon the Eladrith Ynneas need one or two extra Ld shenanigans routes for it to be truly worthwhile, but for three points, this thing is WICKED!

Unless you're shooting it at something with Ld Shennanigans (Girly Man, Nids in Synapse, an Ork Squad with Ld30) you should be getting your points back very quick-smart.

This world exists because of the things we have done, forever branching to the decisions we make and twisting to what we do not.

I'm surprised that's even debatable whether a 3 point wargear piece that can remove an extra model regardless of saves / fnp / multiple wounds or whatnot is a good investment or not...

This. More often than not, the moment something dies because of the reduced Ld the "investment" more than pays off. They're cheap filler that can help us kill even more stuff, not a crucial "take it or not" upgrade to base the list around.
