| Lately I've been wondering a lot about how haemonculi see themselves relative to chaos warpsmiths
They both create engines for war, combining machine and a muse (either immaterial daemon or biological host)
Rules wise we have 5++ , similar to Deamon save, albeit for different reasons
And they are allied with mandrakes, who have been alluded to as Deanon touched
Just curious on your thoughts _________________ “No. Stop. Don’t go in there. You’ll all be killed,’ Motley murmured sardonically”

| An Heamonculus is an engineer. He crafts flesh and machine in such an advanced way that other races think of it as magic.
The warp Smith is combining actual magic with machines and has to rely on the unreliable forces of the warp. At least that's what an Heamonculus is telling itself. | |

| True, science vs magic, material be immaterial. We pay with souls to keep ours alive and they eat them, but it feels like we are one step from deamon. We relish in pain like the herbivore in a food chain, with slaves as plants and Deamons as the carnivore _________________ “No. Stop. Don’t go in there. | Drukhari are to the Aeldari as Chaos is to the Imperium.
What are the Harlequins then? _________________ Want to chat in real time with your fellow archons? Join our Discord channel -> https://discord.gg/5yhRP7v

| Drukhari are to the Aeldari as AdMech is to the Imperium. And Harlequins are Gray Knights. | |

| Warpsmiths worship chaos gods. Haemonculi see themselves as gods. | |

| Though it does beg the question as to why a haemunculous can't "repair" coven units ... There are plenty of body parts strewn across a battle field, why can't they use them for quick repairs ... Say D3 wounds on a model or D6 on a unit of 10 or more wounds (a unit can only be targeted by this ability once per turn). This would give our 3 wound grotesque a reason to have stayed 3 wounds and the talos becomes the murder machine it was before as it can now shrug off more wounds. I don't know if this would make them to close to warpsmiths... Hmm ... | |

| I think a Haemonculus would prefer getting into close combat and enjoy the suffering, rather than making some dull repairs on an old machine that probably wasn't his creation to begin with. | |

| Huh ... I was under the impression that haemunculous brought only their creations into battle ... Along with transports as needed, anyone they joined or we're joined by are merely possible future servants or patrons of there torture chambers for regeneration ... In essence the fact that they have these chambers of torture for regeneration is what made me ask why they couldn't regenerate wounds for themselves or others on the battlefield where there is far more pain then in the chambers. | |

| I like the point about their god conplex
I think most bring their own creations
They can regenerate via cronos, a hammy's creation. But they can't fix vehicles, in fact no eldar can as far as I know. _________________ “No. Stop. Don’t go in there. You’ll all be killed,’ Motley murmured sardonically”

| Mm the problem with the Cronos is it's one wound per turn and that's only if they kill something in close combat ... Pretty weak healing considering everything else that can heal across the board and very specific conditions to do so in a less than reliable way. Where as most others automatically get to heal or cast an average costed psychic powers to do so. Something that we, as DE players, cannot stop without bringing in our cousins and clowns. | |

| The only real connection would be fabius bile, but Haemonculus's "art" is something beyond a chaos apothecary ability | |
