| Does anyone else find it a bit odd that virtually every other army gets a unit that can heal or resurrect models and yet our Haemonculi - whose job is literally that - didn't get any such ability? | |

Not really. Other healers can attempt it every turn automatically (not just if it managed to kill something in combat), heal d3 wounds (instead of just 1) and can revive a dead model. Regardless, even if the chronos can heal models a bit, I don't see why Haemonculi shouldn't get healing and/or regeneration abilities. It is their whole shtick.

| Actually i've never heard or read about a single Hammy healing anybody during a realspace raid. In the field, like for example an Apothecary.
Then their focus seems to be more harm than heal.
Also the reviving process is described as something that takes quite long if i remember correctly.
I think (7th edition Coven) PfP giving IWND was fluffy as that is the only way i see for Dark Eldar to heal during a raid, besides Cronos.

And if we'd kept that in 8th I'd have been happy.

Yeah. I also questioned other small thing with the index we got, "why didn't they just give us...". But I think the main take away is that the index is basically only the translation of 7th ed rules into 8th edition and some price corrections on top of it. But I suppose it wouldn't be the fluffiest thing to do. After all, the regeneration is normally done AFTER the raid is performed.

Except that virtually every other army was given that healing ability without needing to wait for their codices. - @The Strange Dark One wrote:

Granted, but then I imagine you could say the same thing about most (if not all) of the other healers. What's more, as things stand, guardsmen are better at resurrecting people than haemonculi.

| Healing? Healing anyone but yourself? And healing instead of inflicting pain?
Are you sure you aren't in Commoragh by mistake(or by force)?

Haemonculi only being able to heal themselves would suit me fine. Only they seem to lack that ability as well. Even Urien Rakarth, whose regeneration is a major part of his fluff and the reason for his current appearance. - @Frederick Vael wrote:

I assure you, fellow fleshling, I am in the right place. Look, I have the same tentacles as the Chronos created by the haemonculi. That is, created by haemonculi like us. We are the same so I must belong here. The logic is flawless. - Spoiler:
