Progressive Potato Painting

Hello,
I promised myself I would start my own log so here goes..
These are my 2nd attempt at DE, I tried to mimic the 5th edition codex cover shades of turquoise.
I hope you lovely people like them.

Wow, those are amazing. I assume you are using an air brush for those tanks?

These really put my attempts to shame. Ill just slink back into the shadows now...

They do look amazing, but I have to express disappointment. I came here expecting potatoes.

lol, I was a little nervous posting my stuff, but you've all made it very easy, a warm thank you for all being so nice.
And yes Fisheyes, I used an airbrush on the majority but particuarly the ships, it's a useful tool for factions like ours which has a bunch of vehicles.

I think you've sold yourself a bit short painting out the canopies - otherwise it's awesome job!! A great choice of palette and a really beautiful, clean execution.
Will you do any weathering?  I'd love to see some ageing although I appreciate if you don't want to deface your beautiful airbrush gradients!

Just realised, but, you have 4 HWB on your Scourges???

My squad has 1 HWB, 1 Shard Carbine & 3 with no arms lol.

Must get around to converting HWB lol

Wow... incredible paint job man. The gradient is simply amazing! Love the classic color scheme too... its like the GW look but taken to a whole new level. Sick man I love it.

Edit, added some WIP Trueborn, I don't think i'm happy with the heads, I'm 99% sure i'll take them off and just make them regular Kabalites.

Love the Trueborn are they magnetised or do they just plan on headbutting things to death?

If you're not overly keen on the Trueborn, give them blades. i think they'd look great as Incubi!

Ohhh lovely gradients. Paint jobs like these makes me want to dig out the ol' airbrush from the closet and learn how to use it. But maybe I should learn to paint properly with a brush first.
Anyway, stellar job!

Thanks, but we've all seen your work and you're already plenty good with a brush. You're not fooling anybody.

I have to paint Space Wolves again for someone else, so my own stuff will be going on the backburner again, sadly.
