| Well I've toiled away in the face of real lfe and I've got this far. 1 Jump pack company master and 4 out of 5 tactical marines. I know there are a few days of December left but real life is going to preclude getting any more done till after the new year... | |

| Your determination with a fine detail brush is commendable! If I could offer one suggestion it would be to hit the decals with a matt varnish because it's shiny | |

| Cheers nexs truth to tell finest brush I own is a 00 and I mostly use my 0, they come to a nice point and that kinda works for me... I hear you on the matt varnish I usually gloss varnish and then matt coat afterward but the weather up here in the northern hemisphere has been less than cooperative of late so I'll be leaving that till a dry day! | |

| Did manage to assemble 1/2 of the Brush4Hire "not Eldar Space Elf" terrain: Hope to assemble the other half this week and paint for my January Vow! | |

| @Punk Possum- Now thats what I'm talking about Dark Angels in their REAL colors. They look glorious man, I've got a little DA force myself in the exact same colors. Dying to get it to playable points level… serious inspiration here.
@-ESE- Killed it man. That thing came out fantastic. Love the pose and the airbrush work looks great. Like the color balance as well. The white helm/black face plate was a really good choice. I had a hard time choosing the colors for the head/faceplate when I did one on comission a ways back. The pose on the right foot is ridiculous! How long/how many pin and putty attempts did that one take? lol But like I said killed it man.
Also how do you like that not-Eldar terrain? Does it look good in person? I'm a bit iffy on it myself. My brother thinks we should get some though.
@Spellcheck- Man those look great Spell. Dropfleets aliens are awesome.

The kits are good. It's just mdf with all of the hang ups that come with mdf. Instructions are terrible, but once you are able to live with a mistake or two they come out okay. I'm posting some WIP shots of my paint scheme later today on my plog and the January vow thread. I always forget how enjoyable terrain is to paint
