| Some might have seen my log at WarSeer or BoLS, but I might as well put them up here as well. I have started a Dark Eldar army that I try to make a playable force sometime after the summer... The theme is a "Dark Carnivale" with a lot of light and bright colours. Here is a summary of what I have been doing up untill now: The whole army will be converted My Venoms A Wych and a Warrior Two Blood Brides And the start of a Scourge with Shard Carbine. Painted Wyches Hellions with the Baron Sathonyx Close-up on the Baron Death Jester And the mandatory kicking/tripping Harlequin Converted and painted Ravager And an Archon This is what I have managed to do since november last year, but now I think I must speed it up a bit to be done in time... |

| Very nice. I saw those Venoms before but not the Ravager.
You're a deep well of good ideas.... |

| Brilliant stuff, I may end up shamelessly ripping some of your ideas off. Just saying. |

| Steal away!
And after checking that other Commorragh-site and finding nothing to steal there, I intend to stay here and never visit it again. There is no reason trying to be in two places at the same time and I think both would benefit of some kind of merging now when both are new instead. |

| I'm calling it now, the heads you are using are, at least as a base, from the plastic daemonettes kit. If I'm right, thats a fine idea. Another one of which I am borrowing.

| Some pretty awesome stuff you've got there. It's bee a long time dream of myself to start an all Harlequin army. And you've just convinced me to start that up when I'm done painting my core DE list. |

| I really like the work that you've produced here! My favourite conversion has to be the scourge, as the wings actually being part of the arm is a great idea.
I’ve not really be a fan of Harlequin themed armies but this is very well implemented I must say.

| Right now I'm building regular warriors and Trueborn. I think I'll do a remake on my way too static Incubi next.
Experimenting with jester hats now, pics tonight or tomorrow. _________________ Harlequinade Macabre - Project Log

| Some WIP of jester hats to be mixed in among both warriors and trueborn. _________________ Harlequinade Macabre - Project Log

| I was never fully happy with my Incubi and I think I will redo them as shown here, with armoured Scourge-legs and swords instead. Thoughts? _________________ Harlequinade Macabre - Project Log

| I love the incubi models, just hate the klaives. They look ridiculous. |

| I don't care for them, they look to much like Wracks in my opinion. |

| I meant the metal ones in my post above. Your guys in robes do have more of a wrack feel. I don't know how I feel about your incubi. I can't see enough of the model or have closeups. |

| I really like the first batch. I really like how they look quite slow moving and deliberate in their movements in comparison to the dynamism of the troupes.
However, the send version looks rather too sexy to ignore. They look a little more ornate and stately which may fit your theme better.
I would plump for the first for contrast, but the very reasons why I like them, may be the reasons why you want to change them. Whichever you choose i'm sure they will look great.
How do you plan on painting them?
All the best,
LilLoser |

| Yes, the thought behind these new ones are that they should be more dynamic than the old ones. Still in contrast with the rest of the army due to their armour and "heavy feel" but not static as the old ones.
I thonk they will have a light/white armour as my warriors armour, with contrasting fields of colourful checkers. I think the masks will be blank. _________________ Harlequinade Macabre - Project Log

| I really like the first ones, the robed look is just great and I think that the scythe weapon is much better (although probably quite fragile?).
The second are more imposing and regal-looking, I like them also. If you do decide to go with them, I would still try to find a way to incorporate the first lot into your army. Wracks? Haemies? |
