 Competetive struggle 2K

Have been building up my Drukhari force over the last few weeks, but like many I'm still struggling over what to play! FAR too many options!
Want to start going to a few tournaments so want something competitive but still fun to play and paint. Have yet to play a game with them so could do with some advice, got the two lists below to choose from, one full on shooty and another one mixed. ALL feedback welcome!

I've used this quite a bit recently aside from another unit of reavers and its worked quite well. sometimes my wyches die off before the end of the game but they always do something useful and the reavers dont kill much but they tend to lock up stuff very well. I recommend moving the raiders over into a black heart detachment though for the 6+++ save.

Everyone is using this and thats probably for a reason. I prefer the dark lances myself even though I seem to have terrible luck with getting shots off with my dark light weapons even with reroll 1's. I also tend to suppliment it with empty raiders after they have dropped off their payloads and the enemy has taken out a ravager or two.

I am uncertain as to how well the kabalite troops work as I havnt used them myself much. The squad of ten with two blasters and a splinter cannon in a raider has appealed to me before but I worry about the points cost of the unit and on paper I think the squad of 5 with a blaster in a venom just doesnt have the antitank for my tastes. invariably I will miss or fail to wound each blaster shot I swear.

I don't know or fully understand why yet but my lists seem to be fighting above their weight class repeatedly. Are we just undercosted point wise across the board? I can't point to any one unit doing the lions share of the work in my lists and I've heard comments from others with vastly different DE lists as well so its not like I've found some strange alignment of units that do well with some hidden synergy for the meta or anything. I gotta be honest that I don't think you'll do poorly with either list but I don't think either list is at the most efficient we can bring either.
