If there is one thing I like to do, it is take a good thing and drive it straight into the ground. Scourges are good. I probably want too many Scourges. Commentary in Green.

It is tempting to run three outriders, cult of red greif and succubus with +2 move, which will be fast enough to justify a scourge succubus conversion. alternatively, www them in. The only issue is that half of your arm has to start on the table, so i would make 50% of the scourge DL scourge for the range.

EDIT: made a list

Outrider
-red greif, this is the DS detachment, you WWP the succubus in, and she almost has the mobility of a scourge.

Succubus -blood glaive, blast pistol

-Obsidian rose, this is the long-range detachment, to give the archon a 24" blaster.

-Black heart, this is the board control detachment, these scourge give you DS denial, screening, objective capture, and some AI firepower.

comes out to 1998 pts. A cool idea would be to add kabalites as screening units, they could be the pre-modification scourge that have to help in raids before they get transformed.

gives you 24 DL shots, 42 shard carbines, or 126 poison shots, 12d6 shredder shots, and 12d3 haywire shots. pretty solid firepower alpha strike.

I like this. Scourges are pretty awesome, I thought I was being excessive considering 20 scourges, you clearly took that concept even further. Very Happy

I might switch one of the ravagers to dark lances, think you could use a little more darklight shots. Biggest consideration for the list though will be making sure you can deliver your scourges effectively. Blasters should be able to hit their targets from deep strike fine, but shredders it might be tougher. I might consider dropping the wyches and taking something like some razorwing flocks just for a bigger footprint on the board that can make some room for deep striking scourges. Wyches are good chaff removal in that regard, but one unit can only do so much. Another possibility is maybe throw splinter cannons/splinter racks in there for the warriors, little extra shots for the warriors will let them clear out deep strike blockers a little more easily.
