I don't know, it's my first time with Drukhari and I haven't play with them yet. Ur-Ghul is now 15 points too and Ld 4, he keep his inv 5+ and add 2 attacks if it charged in the same turn.

(My english isn't very good, it's hard for me to explain what I think but I try to give you the best translation of the codex)

15pts is much better, so they still get 6 S4 attacks on the charge? Its ok, S4 0ap isn't tho, thats why no one took them over the Lhamaean.

If we could take them in units like we used to, or if they took an Elite slot they be nice.

Can you look to see if they "can" take an elite slot?

All court of archon have the same rule, re-roll hit wound if they are at 3" or less to an archon. If your army is battle-forged and you have an archon on your detachement, they don't take detachement's slot.

So, if you put an Lhamaean or Ur-Ghul in a detachement without archon, they take an elite slot. That's how I understand the rule but maybe I'm wrong.

Lhamaeans carry Shaimeshi Blades, not Venom Blades.

Hu that wording would suggest you can take court models on their own as elites, but what I've been hearing you can't do that anymore elsewhere (BoLS video) so I'm not entirely sure.

Yeah, is it 1 Archon = 1 Court, or 1 Archon = unlimited court? I cant see it being Unlimited, its most likely 1 Archon = 1 free slot

Yeah I'm really not sure, though I'm more worried about how the rule works for beasts since one beast unit=1 beastmaster would really impact how I've used beasts in the past.

"you can include court of archon's models in a detachment only if it also contains at least one archon, and there can not be more than four court of archon's models in the same detachment"

1 Archon=Unlimited Court.

But they are units of 1 single model each, and no more Characters.
PS: yes, Lhamaean now are poisoned 4+ with a +2 to wound. That means that they still get mortal wound in 4+ instead of 6+ (6+ +2).
They are crazy now, even if single models!

So the rule works as I suspected, which means court models will essentially never take up elite slots. I'm fine with that, no more spamming them but I never did that anyway.

That means thom its 100% clear now there is no Kabals in Elites or Fast.

Eh that doesn't bother me in the slightest, mandrakes and scourges are both awesome and can fill out a vanguard or outrider detachment easily.

Ok so one beastmaster unlocks access to three beast units, I can live with that. Do beast units then take up fast attack slots in that case?

4 Lhamaeans in a venom with an archon is looking sweet as character assassins, also its not a bad tactic to get your opponent to expend CP to interrupt if throwing them at squads.
Its like a very bad scenario for your opponent due to their points cost, like its not as if we care to lose 45-60pts, your opponent either loses 2 cp or gets a squad badly mulched.

Yeah doesn't sound bad, but how do you get your hands on 4 lhamaeans that aren't the same mono-pose finecast models? Need some good alternatives.

There is something more about the court of the archon. They are not character any more, so they are very easy to kill. I hope that it should be an errata and that a future faq fix them.

Raging heroes, also content prob NSFW there's quite a bit of nudity in their models, I've been looking myself since you mentioned it to see what would be viable.

Single 4 drops. They are no characters anymore, they're just infantry units with 1 model max per unit :-/

There's a few kits that would be good from raging heroes, there's two on kickstarter that i really like, one kit has spears  and they look really awesome, however once i saw these i fell in love. It has to be these.

Eh..I'm noticing more and more restrictions on our army compposition, to once again make us even more reliant on our characters. Of our 30 units, 7 (Nearly a quarter of our army!) are locked behind a character tax, with detachment limits on top of that!

Eh I mean for court models that doesn't really bother me, they are supports to be taken alongside archons after all. It's more so beasts needing a beastmater that seems a bit annoying, but I'll withhold judgement on beasts until I see the codex and figure out how that works.
