Another benefit for red grief wyches charging alongside their raider, you can use their stratagem to then jump back into the raider if they wipe out their target. I'll be trying that out in my first game on Saturday and seeing if that comes in handy.

Embark/Disembark is made during movement phase. I doubt you can do that (?)

They don't charge "from" the raider. They charge "with" the raider. That's the first edition in which you can do that, and it solves every overwatch problem.

Yes I know. T1 you move flat out with the raider, T2 you disembark with the wyches 3"+move+2d6 charge +3" consolidation. Maybe you can put some fire & fade to shoot and move a little more ?
The Raider does the same, it moves and combines charge with first the raider to soak overwatch.

Imho it's the best way to ensure wyches getting into cc

Yup the stratagem lets you use your consolidation move to go back into a transport instead of moving closer to an enemy unit, which is nice as it gives you a reason to actually run wyches in a red grief detachment. Granted red grief is definetly best for reavers, but nice nonetheless.

Mmmmmmmh, might consider it yeah!
But I think Strife is still the one I would go with, thx to Lelith.

Except for a fluff list where I would drop her: Not very nice going to Ynnari...

Why not both? The Succubus is our cheapest HQ. ~350 points gets you a spearhead of reavers. Then Lilith can lead the main force.

The one thing I like about cult of strife is that the obsessions benefits all the wych units fairly equally. Cursed blade is probably the best trair overall, but not very useful on reavers, while red grief is really good for reavers, but less so for wyches. Cult of Strife on the other hand is always guaranteed to be useful for all the cult units so if you're running a mixed cult detachment it's not bad.
