 Useful Cluster caltrops and Grav talons

Rather than dealers of mortal wounds (which I never thought made much sense given their nature)
I propose they be changed to exotic pistol weapons:

Cluster caltrops: Range 6", Pistol D6, Strength 4, AP -1, D 1, -
Grav talon: Range 12", Pistol D3, Strength 4, AP 0, D 1, If this weapon hits an enemy Infantry unit, then that unit fights last in the following fight phase even if they charged.

Well, whaddya think? Rather involve mortal wounds, got a better idea? An Arena Champion can dream, right?

I would go with Cluster Caltrops:
Melee: Strength 6, AP -, D 1, Only usable on the charge. For every attack made with this weapon, make 2 additional attacks.

Grav Talon
Melee: Strength x2, AP -3, D 1, Only usable on the charge. Against characters, the damage increases to 1d3.

I have to admit I do prefer to the idea of these being actual melee weapons instead of special rules since they changed bladevanes into weapons. I am curious though if for the grav talon having higher damage against armor saves of 3+ or better like the imperial grav weaponry might be more preferable? It'd apply to most characters anyways, plus terminators, primaris marines, Tau battlesuits, and more. Plus it'd be difficult to complain against it since it is just what other grav weapons are Razz and last I checked they were not very popular anymore anyways.

The grav-talon on the other hand could have a "a model wounded by this weapon cannot attack in melee this turn". Since it's "charge only", it wouldn't be too powerful, but would make it a terrifying weapon for lone HQs.
