 Wych and Kabal All Comers 1500

My goal here is to create a list that can take on all comers and that I won't have to change every time I face a new opponent. I don't much care for list tailoring and I'm not that competitive. But on the flip side, I don't want to get stomped all the time. Submitted for your criticism:

- HQ -

Succubus with Archite Glaive and Blast Pistol, +2 Movement Drug

Archon with Blaster and Agonizer

- Troops -

x9 Kabalite Warriors (In Raider)

x9 Wyches, Hekatrix with Agonizer (In Raider), +1 Attack Drug

x5 Kabalites with Blaster (In Venom)

- Elites -

x5 Incubi (In Venom)

x5 Mandrakes

- Fast Attack -

x6 Reavers, Two with Blasters, Two with Grav-Talons, +1 Toughness Drug

x5 Scourges, Four with Dark Lances

- Transports -

x1 Raider with Dark Lance and Shock Prow

x1 Raider with Dark Lance and Shock Prow

x1 Venom with Double Splinter Cannon

x1 Venom with Double Splinter Cannon

- Flyers -

x1 Razorwing with Two Dark Lances and Splinter Cannon

Exactly 1500 Points, Battalion Detachment

I like this, though I would note that the Movement drug feels a bit 'meh' to me. I'd probably take the Str drug just to increase the number of viable targets for her, but if you like what the movement drug does, go for it - I don't think it makes sense since she'll be wanting to stick with regular wyches.

I'm not the biggest fan of bigger Warrior squads...but, hey, at least if you decide to expand you'll only need to track down 2 Blasters and you'll basically be at two squads Wink
This looks fine for what it is.
Left to my own devices I'd drop Warriors to add a blaster so you'll have two of them in the Raider.

Wouldn't hurt to have Hydra Gauntlets, but this is a perfectly solid option for a Wych build.

Very expensive for the amount of damage they can cause, but definitely a fun and fluffy choice.

I'd save the points on the s.cannon since the TL s.rifle is almost as good and 10 points cheaper, and those 10 points, along with dropping a Warrior, could get you a Blaster in that Warrior squad.

For 1500 it feels a little light on anti-tank shooting, so if there's a lot of that in your area maybe consider dropping some of your expansive anti-infantry for a little more anti-tank. But, if your local meta is infantry heavy this is looking very fun and practical.

The only unit that is objectively just a fun choice is the Reavers.

This is similar to a list o usually take with some success. It won't win every game, but it'll be fun and you'll be in the mix most of the time.

For the sake of being more comoetitive, is drop the reaver and go with a ravager. O didn't add up the points to see if it an even swap though.

And for the record, I also typically run 9 warriors with a blaster with an archon with blaster in a raider. But honestly they don't usually get into the thick of the fight until late game.

The Reavers are actually quite a bit more expensive than a Ravager. I actually haven't added a Ravager because I don't have any. I bought my entire army pretty much as one lot and aside from the Mandrakes and Scourges, I haven't really bought anything else. I was thinking either a Ravager or a Forge World Reaper. Reapers seem a little nastier to me.

Changes to the list: I think you're right about giving the Succubus +1 Strength drug instead. I'm also considering the two units in one Raider thing - hadn't thought of that. I could instead just put the Archon in one of the venoms since he's not going to be the Warlord.

5 kabalites can't take 5 blasters.

Trueborns can take up to 2 heavy and/or 4 special weapons, but they switch into the Elite department.
You don't have a battalion here :3

He didn't say that the kabalites were taking 5 blasters. Unless it's been edited after your comment, it seems clear to me that a 5 man kabalite team with 1 blaster is in a venom

Yeah, it's five Kabalites with one blaster. And why don't I have a battalion. Two HQ and Three troops?

I believe the comment about not having a batallion was based on his belief that the 5 man kabalite team was trueborn instead of warriors, making them elites rather than troops

My bad. Yup I thought Blasters Trueborns > Elite > Missing 1 troop.

Anyway your list looks pretty cool.

With your 6 remaining points, I'd recommand getting 2 PGL (Phantasm grenade launcher).
And if you find your wyches don't do much damage (as if I'd recommand using the +1T drug and using them as a tarpit), consider getting some points back elsewhere (removing a DL from scourges or something), split them in 2 troops of 5, with 2 blast pistols & 2 hydra gauntlets.

And don't forget to try lock down enemy units in melee with their special rules, and shoot them in the face with ALL pistols (I used to forget splinter pistols, it basicly adds a poison attack).

Don't forget drugs are not list locked too. You can adjust them to the opponent you're facing.
+1S to the succubus makes her wound T3 on 2+, or +1T can make her harder to wound vs S3 Wink

When you say "x9 Wyches, Hekatrix with.....", do you mean 9 models total or 9 wyches and a heka ? If it's 10 models then the +2 Move on Succubus seems nice, too keep up with the units you decide tohave her follow.
If it's 9 models and you're gonna have the Succubus in the Raider I'd agree with masamune on the Succubus drug. Wont lose you the game either way anyhow.
