Seems like you ale gming to soulburst Hellions for first turn charge, right? Keep them safe when deploying units if you know that you will not go first, they diefast :/

Indeed they do.Hellions are definitely there for the potential turn 1 charge, which is almost guaranteed after a soulburst move. It's not THE plan but it's A plan.

With the changes to how we determine game initiative, I'm not so sure how good of an idea it is to have such large units. I think you're going to see Morale be a big threat to you. I'm also a little worried the Hellions won't have the resiliency to survive to get into assault.

You're absolutely right. They are a bit squishy but they are a "deal eith me now" threat. Again, they aren't THE plan. They are my distraction unit. If you don't deal with them, they are going to hurt you really badly. Lots of shots + lots of attacks and can threaten anything I'd see on the table. The real strength comes from the Nightspinners. Being able to threaten 48" without LOS and have a boatload of shots that cause 2 dam each. Lots of fun there.
