So even though this really won't matter game play wise, I just had a thought and wanted to run it by you guys to see what everyone else thought. I was just reading over the Blood Angel FAQ and in it, it states that Hellfire rounds are S 1 (first errata). So GW gave a poison shooting weapon a strength value. Yes, I know that the re-roll to wound only happens in close combat. Just thought it was an interesting thing and was wondering what everyone thought.

Probably meant to avoid instant death questions and to clarify what happens if it shoots a vehicle.

I also believe it categorizes the weapon as defensive as well - just like the bane wolf and it's chem cannon that is strength is low that it can move at cruising speed and still fire.
