 2k razorwing flocks but not spam

Wanted to try and make a list that took advantage of flocks but didn't outright spam them. Thoughts?

where do the succubus and archons go? i hate that our hq's dont really help out our team like other factions hq's. also from my limmited experiance with flocks is that you should prolly max out the sqauds when ever possible.

Unless I matched wrong I have 30 foot soldiers and 3 characters. So 2 raiders = 20 capacity, 3 venoms = 15. Stick all the characters in a raider with a 5 man group or in their own venom.

I didn't see much difference between 10 and 12 only advantage would be overeatch absorption, but running the slightly large 3rd unit gives me more flexibility., Was actually considerzing 3 units of 9 instead but I like round numbers.

This is very similar to a list I'm considering for a tourney - I only took them in units of 7 though because I have a unit of incubi in a venom as well as a court of the archon (1 sslyth, 3 medusa) in another venom so I needed to cut some points, and frankly I plan on using the birds MOSTLY as a screen against DS.

The one suggestion I would make would be considering getting rid of the outrider detachment, drop the Archon from it, and roll them into your battalion detachment - the beastmaster lets you take one of the flocks as a free choice (detachment-wise) leaving you with 2 flocks and the scourges filling out your fast attack, so you can use the points from the Archon getting cut elsewhere. I don't think the 1 CP is worth taking an extra Archon.

Thats an excellent point. I'm gonna re-work it to see if I can fit in another deepstrike unit. Probably mandrakes to bring in some potential MW and one more threat for my opponent to have to worry about.
