There was an interesting article on this very topic earlier today on facebook (spikey bitz I think) Basically it calls for placing flyers with their very large bases around the outskirts of you army. This pushes the deep strikers back away from your troops. Whether or not you have the models, or points for flyers in your game is another matter. Hope this gives you some ideas.

Here's a 500pt list that has performed very well for me so far:

Archon w/ Blaster + Agonizer
5 Kabalite 1 w/ Blaster
Raider w/ Dark Lance

5 Kabalite 1 w/ Blaster
Venom

5 Kabalite 1 w/ Blaster
Venom

You've got 5 darklight weapons to bust up anything tough and a ton of splinter shots to make them roll saves. You can shoot out of your transports so they are basically a huge toughness and mobility boost for your troops - not to mention they have guns of their own. This list does a LOT at this points level. You'll have more raw firepower and mobility than almost anything else, plus with only 3 units to deploy you're very likely to go first.

Yeah we've talked about this many times.... but the difference is this person right now is playing at 500-750pts, you cant do that at 500pt level games.
