I think I'd prefer it if they made him more of sniper, mostly because the 'Quins are missing that niche without Craftworld assistance.

I dont like him at all (other than looks). I dont want a Sniper like any other sniper, he needs to be special, he is a Harlequin!

Death Jester: What i REALLY want is him to be completely different. I want his "Infantry" killing rule to be changed to "force a unit to snap fire if a model is slain."

As for Character killer, i want him to do mortal wounds to characters instead of normal ones "If you roll a 6 to hit", he should also be 3 Shots always, and keeping the 6 to wound is -3ap.

Hmm as awesome as that'd be, I have to wonder if a forced snapfire would be a little strong. What if he prevented the enemy unit from advancing or something?

For his current point cost I'd like to see the following:

All wounds of a 6 = mortal wounds
All damage can be put to the models of your choice, within range and LOS
If he doesn't move, may fire twice. The second shot may be resolved at a different target and using a different profile

The Death Jester has the following abilities:
Conductor of mayhem- Allocates hits to a target of choice, be that a unit or . Half the wounds caused are mortal wounds (rounding up). Wounds of a 6 are also -3AP and damage D3.
The target must then immediately take a D6 leadership check. Each wound caused will also reduce the opponent's leadership value by 2.

Would this make the Death Jester now worth his points?

I dont like the LD test at all, i like the "Pick a model to take the wound" or "dont move gets dbl shots" in general IMO it either needs to be a Awesome 1 shot weapons (like D6 mortal wounds) or 3-6 shots.

I have no idea what characters like the Vindicare do, but perhaps looking to the other sniping characters and seeing what they do would be a good idea.

Also, I feel like GW generally struggle to represent stuff like the Shrieker cannon; just look at the Hexrifle, which is frankly awful.

The Sniper Assassin is huge range (5') hits on 2's always wounds on 2+ -3ap D3 damage, but if the wound is a 6+ it does D6 damage.

Its 1 shot tho

IMO sense the DJ gets a Shuirken cannon that is custom, it should still shoot 3 times.
