I know some of you have mentioned how good razorwing flocks are..I've been testing it extensively over the last few weeks and let me tell you it's definitely a meta changing army right now..

I've been using around 150 flocks supported by a variety of eldar/Ynnari characters and there is not much in the game they can't handle or can deal with them. The synergy they have is very very powerful plus how good are they for 7 points!? Surely a nerf is coming.

Is anyone else using lots of them?

WHat exactly are you doing with them?
I didn't see very many Character abilities at all which affect any Aeldari.
I look at Razorwing Flocks and think they're not that great.

Beastmasters give them reroll to hit, Yncarne can give them 6+ ignore wound save and fearless, farseer can cast doom to give reroll to wound on hard units.

They are great tarpits, fast, can attack any target even flyers, do respectable damage for the points in combat and cover the board nicely for maelstrom and objectives.

A squad of 12 near a beastmaster and hitting a doomed target do 16 wounds on any unit in the game before saves, for 84 points. Vs t3 they are really good, like conscripts and so on.

What models are you using? I'm also on the 'Razorwings look awesome' train, but at £10 a base from GW there's no way I could afford to field 150 flocks.

Sounds like a very fun and balanced game right there...
In any case I think it was Reecius from FLG in a podcast that mentioned that GW was going to address the point cost of Razorwing flocks, apparently it was meant to be 14 points, who knows... I'd wait before buying a gazillion of them though.

2k list. 229 Razorwing Flocks. 940 wounds. 1849 attacks in CC per turn, rerolling wounds. Of course this game was play tested.

Yeah flocks were meant to be 14 and conscripts were meant to be 1 if I had to guess.

Let's see if they manage to adjust the point costs. I hope so. Brimstone Horrors need a point increase too.

Razorwing flocks will for sure get an errata at some point. FLG guys are already aware of this. Apparently Chaos Brimstone horrors are even better.

Yeah the LD thing isnt an issue with ld9 beastmasters and Yncarne.

They do need repointing, as do half the things in the game haha.

But right now they are just absolutely filthy.

If they get nerfed, I wouldn't mind trying khymera spam, and have a few flocks too because even at 14 a base they are still worth having a few around

Even if they go to 14pts a pop i will still use 6-9 of them.

They are AMAZING counter DSing units if you have them in 1's or groups of 2 just around you models.

I agree and I'll probably still use them at double the points if that happens. But I'm talking ~a dozen bases, not 150!! affraid
