 Harlequins 2000 Points - Advice

PostSubject: Harlequins 2000 Points - Advice   Mon Jun 19 2017, 16:14

Hello,

I am fairly new to the game and this is the first time I made a 2000 point list. I Played my first few games with 7th and less points but now that 8th is out I was wondering if this list looks good. Any advice to make changes or tips on how to play harlequins would be very appreciated.

No transports? Your dudes will be dead before they hit the midline unfortunately. I'd drop the supreme command, move them into the slots of the troupe masters and pick up a pair of transports

Harlies don't always need transports - many of the lists I run for them don't and they do rather well.

TBH, There are a lot of sup par units here IMO, and the transports are very good...

I would drop 2 of the troupe masters and replace them with your shadowseers. Master's much prefer an Embrace over a sword, and give him a Fusion Pistol.

I would drop your Skyweaver squad with the haywire too. Haywire is very sub par.

Add a third Void weaver in, and run all three as one unit. This means you have to take 15 wounds to the unit as a whole before losing a single void weaver.

Drop one player with a Caress from each squad so you can fit the squad and an HQ into a Star weaver.


Speaking of, at 99 points a pop, you could pick up three star weavers.

The remaining points could go into two fusion pistols per squad as well.


So list total would be:

Troupe Master with Embrace and Fusion Pistol

Death Jester

Solitare

3 identical squads of 5 players, with 2 caresses, three embraces, and two Fusion pstols.

3 Star weavers.

6 Sky Weavers with Glaives (all as one squad  - 6 is still pretty easy to hide and reduces the number of drops you have - plus can hit hard enough to really do some damage)

one squad of three void weavers

That gives you 8 drops total in a 2k game, 6 CP, 13 Kill Points.
