They said PFP is still a thing and FnP acts as a 2nd save still.

so power from pain is "return a model to the battlefield" if you roll a "6" after damage

so basically feel no pain

Army wide rule, would that mean our VEHICLES come back if you roll a "6"

If so... holy crap!

Rolling 6s ignores wounds, just like death faction ability in AoS

> Primaris Marines can be made from preexisting Marines.
> Blood Angel Primaris Marines are still affected by Red Thirst (and potentially Black Rage).
> Mk IX Armour is a mystery. What happened to it? They aren't telling us (yet).
> Guilliman *might* make some changes to the Codex Astartes.
> Primaris Marines are more resilient to Chaos, but can potentially be corrupted by chaos still .
> More Primarchs will return (a cowled one, so Mortarion most likely).

> Consolidating into Combat.
> Power Fists and the like are -1 To Hit.
> You can either pick psychic powers from the chart or roll (like in Age of Sigmar).
> Perils of the Warp cuases Mortal Wounds.
> There's no amry specific Detachments - only army specific stratagems. Basic Detachments apparently cover everything already.
> Imperial Fist stratagem can make them better at shooting. White Scars can us a stratgem to Hit & Run.
> Factions can also use their Command Points before deployment to change how their army is constructed (?).
> Unqiue Strategems are based on main Keywords in your Detachments.
> Tactical Reserves is NOT supersceded by any army rules.
> Characters can still travel in tranports with other units.
> Transports can carry multiple units.
> What can be transported is based on Keywords (like Infantry).
> How to keep characters safe: Almost all Command Squads have rules that allows them to intercept wounds from characters.
> Drop Pods: they and the units they contain must be over 9" away from enemies when deployed.
> Grav hasn't neccerssarily be toned down, but it should still be balanced.
> Invulnerable saves work basically the same as they do now.
> Many armies have abilities that allows them to save wounds after Armour or Invulnerable saves (Dark Eldar get Power From Pain, Disgustingly Resilient for Nurgle Daemons). These saves occur after damage, so if an attack causes 5 damage you need to make 5 seperate secondary saves.
> Defender decides casualties - no longer directional.
> Primaris Marines and normal Marines tend to have different functions (Tacticals vs Intercessor are used as an example).
> Mix between totally new psychic powers and adaptation of pre-existing and classic powers (though they may function differently).
> Terminators are going to feel like Terminators.

> They will collect feedback through Facebook and eventually through the Warhammer Community site where everyone can vote on it. Also feedback through events and Twitch.tv.
> GW will still be involved with the tournament scene, especially with major tournaments. Apparently they're going to be involved more.
> They will continue to playtest the game post-release, both for Matched and Narrative standpoints.

> Pete Foley does, indeed, thin his paints.

Thanks for the write up.

I don't like that Command Squads are what protects characters as not every faction has them. It would be nice (though this is GW we are talking about) if things like the Court of the Archon counted as a command squads, for this purpose, making my dislike pointless.

On the "Guilliman *might* make some changes to the Codex Astartes," I can't say I'm surprised, he has 10k years of information to dig through to see the errors he made and see what should be corrected or expanded on.

I'm gpoing to venture a a hypothesis (read: speculation) concerning both "use any kind of army" and todays "also use their Command Points before deployment to change how their army is constructed".
I think Command Points can be used, possibly in mutliples to ignore or change Detachment requirements.
I'm basically making it up at this points, and I'm sure I'll be proven wrong at some point, but it makes sense in my mind that a Detachment offering say, one HQ, one Troops, and a few CPs might allow the spending of those CPs to make it a HQ and an Elites instead, or just drop the Troops requirement.

Otheriwse, through the stream now, was very amused to see just how many of the questions drifitng through Facebook were "Are we getting VECT back?!", but otherwise a decent stream.
Nothing groundbreaking on the Dark Eldar side of course, but amused thsat for matched play at least the horror of Drop Pod Assault seems to have abated.

Had a laugh when they said "....if for example Dark Eldar are overpowered". Ha! If only!

So far DE Pros are:

Multi Melee units in Raiders.
Vehicles are over all better
Can DS and still charge
PfP is an addition save of 6++
Wychs can tarpit and use pistols in CC
Vesicles can CC (DE might be good at this)
Dis Cannons and DL are IMO better
Poison can hurt vehicles now
They say we are fast (but we will see)
Scourges can move and shoot Heavy weapons with better BS now
Pistols are better, can shoot out of vehicle melee and CC (Blast Pistols)
Court will protect out Archons (Sniper I think will be powerful so this might be important)
Edit: Hexrifle can snipe out IC's now.

There might be more.

If Dark Eldar were overpowered...?
aCare to explain the context he thought so?

If the court is a squad for the Archon, I need Sslyths...!

I bet that haemonculi improve the PfP roll.

It would be *really* nice if wracks and grots get a +1 on PfP, and then get a further +1 from nearby haemonculi.

I'm really looking forward to coven's info. If nothing else it's good to see PfP is sticking around though I hope it can ramp up or be improved beyond a 6++ after other saves.
