So i have Visarch and Yncarne now! I dont know if I should stay pure DE or change it up to ynnari. My current list is having AT issues at the moment I was thinking about picking up some razorwings to add some DL. If i go Ynnari I was thinking some wraithlords.... Anyway here is my current list. Any advice welcome I am usually facing chaos and necrons.

Visarch
Succubus wwp and arcgit glave with 3x Incubi in Venom 2xSC

4x units Venom 2SC each with 5x Kabalites 1x Blaster

1 unit 6x scourges 4x HWB 2x shard carbins

1 unit 6x mandrakes

Yncarne

Purge coterie

Archon WWP 1x blaster

1 unit 6x Trueborn 4x Blasters 2x SC

1 uniye 3x Reavers arena Champion AG, CC, and blaster.

Raider DL

My questions:
What point limit?
does "6x Scourges 4x HWB" mean "6 scourges, 4 of them with haywire blaster", or does it mean "6 squads of scourges with 4 haywire blasters each"? I think you mean former, but just before that you wrote "4x Venoms [...]" which seems to mean 4 squads of 5 kabalites with 1 blaster on venom with dual splinter cannon. same confusion with the mandrakes.
The mandrakes look out of place to me, can't say why. What is your success rate with them? do they affect the game at all?

Generic suggestions that i can give you already:
- Too many HQ models. look into dropping one or two, and if necessary get a cheap "court of the archon" 1man unit on venom instead
- Drop the Arena Champ from the reavers. in a 3man squad he's too expensive. Drop the blaster as well. and get more reaver squads, because a single squad will die before it does anything worthwhile.
- Don't run Incubi against Necrons or Chaos. They may be faster, but will be ripped apart like so much wet paper by any sort of melee unit. If you stick with the Succubus, give her a squad of Grotesques, preferably from the Grotesquerie formation.
- Yncarne is mediocre at best, rules-wise, and half his "Revenant" psychic powers are tied to the Ynnari-faction and their special rules, so if you want to run him you should go ynnari. otherwise drop him.
- drop the splintercannons from the trueborn and the 6th man. Waste of points in a squad that is meant to hunt vehicles and TEQ.
- going with DE, look into Haemonculite Covens Supplement. Great formations to give you some tougher units
- going with Ynnari, invest in Craftworld Eldar (especially wraithguard), Harlequin Shadowseers and possibly some Harlequin Deathjesters. Remember that you cannot soulburst while embarked.

Looks like I need to pick up some wraithgard and lords... Should I footslog them or stick them in a transport?

don't know about the wraithlords, but i would footslog wraithguard - and attach an archon with WWP to them. pinpoint deepstrike with d-scythes, obliterate 2 squads the turn they come in. attach a shadowseer just for the primaris power.

Instead of the wraithlord, i'd go a size bigger - wraithknight. let me battlescribe a list for you real quick with the units you've mentioned, plus some adjustments.

ok. Here goes, for 1500 pts (and yes only about half your units made it in there, plus none of the characters)

5 Kabalites, 1 Blaster, Venom with Splinter Cannon 120 pts

Fast Attack, 246 pts total:
3 Reavers, 1 Cluster Caltrops 63 pts

3 Reavers, 1 Cluster Caltrops 63 pts

5 Scourges, 4 Haywire Blasters 120 pts

Lord of War:
Wraithknight, Heavy Wraithcannons, 2 Scatterlasers 325 pts

Formation: Ynnead's Net, 294 pts total:
3 Reavers, 1 Cluster Caltrops 63 pts

3 Windriders, 3 Scatterlasers 81 pts

1 Skyrider Warlock 50 pts

2 Starweavers 100 pts


The trueborn on a raider can easily be included in a 2000 pts list, but in 1500 pts i would leave them home. Same with the named characters for Ynnari. and Ynnead's Net is probably the best formation you can grab in a Reborn Warhost.

I'll try later to write a list including the Visarch

Do wraithguard have deepstrike? I have always understood that the Archons WWP need to be used in a unit or transport with deepstrike rule.

No, the WWP confers the Deep Strike rule

hm. i prefer my kabalites with blaster, but this list looks pretty good.

/edit: oh, wait, there is however a mistake in your list - your archon has 1 weapon too many, he can only have a total of 2. drop the parasite's kiss and you're golden (and your total pts are at exactly 2000)
- and i now realize it's a mistake in battlescribe. it's not replacing anything when selecting "parasite's kiss". drop it anyways, i just saw the rules and it's a waste of points.
