so it was said in a game the other day that my venoms and raiders can only move 6 inches and fire everything normally. If I move 12 inches then I can fire 2 vehicle weapons (which I always have done), but the guys inside must snap fire.

Is this right?

moving 6 embarked squads fire normally
moving 12 embarked squads snap fire?

Yes Sir, Below 6 inches everything can fire, normal. If you move more then 6 inches then only 2 guns can fire normal and passangers much fire Snap Shots.

Ravagers USE to but lost a piece of wargear in the new codex called Ariel assault that allowed them to fire all weapons if moved over 6.

I saw someone saying that venoms could go 12 and still shoot both cannons at 6 shots 36 inches, is this correct?

Ive been playing them at salvo for having moved... >.<

Vehicles have the relentless special rule and thus fire Salvo weapons as if they remained stationary. So yes. Full range and shots.
