Current list I've been using for the past 4 games (2 wins 2 losses so far). Having fun with it! I build lists and play in tournies using the Community Comp scoring system. Most events are a a 12 credit limit, this list clocks in at 10.

CORPSETHIEF CLAW FORMATION
5 Talos, 1 TL Splinter Cannon, 2 TL Haywire Blasters, 2 TL Heat Lances. All with Ichors

It's nice having a low threat Warlord as he hasn't died in the past 4 games. The Claw have been awesome and mixing the weapons gives then more versatility as they get to the middle really fast, melta range is usually not that hard. The Disintegrators on the 3 Raiders come up big too for those Termies or FnP Marines.

Have played against Grey Knights and Nurgle Deaoms (losses) and Blood Angels and Space Wolves (wins). Currently lining up games with Tau, Necrons and Eldar for the next few weeks ahead.

Interesting comp system, I like a lot of what's in there. So if I understand it, you're paying 5 credits for the vehicles and 5 for the Corpsetheif right? Looks like your right on the edge for the vehicle points, if you changed a venom to a raider you'd save yourself a credit.

What kind of missions do you guys play down there? Also why'd you lose those two games? Did you make mistakes or was there something your list just couldn't handle?

Nurgle demons can be rough with shrouding everywhere, and grimoired beasts or drones can tie up the corpsetheif pretty effectively while nurgle princes or GUOs just kill it. Having something besides the corpsethief to dig things out of 2+ cover would be useful there.

GK NSF can hit really hard with a T1 drop and force weapons everywhere is obviously bad news for the Corpsethief. Having some reserve manipulation (like an aegis or a bunker with a Comms Relay), makes Null-deploying a more reliable option (GK won't kill the Corpsethief on the drop, just make sure they're sitting in cover).

I really like the comp system too. Yes, you''ve worked out correctly how the credits are spent but some TO's don't use the comp score to work out final battle points, infact most TOs simply use the army building credit system and apply a cap. Most caps are set at 12-14 credits, with no adjustments made to players scores. Comp sometimes doesn't go toward overall score.

Mission packs are constantly evolving. They usually consist of 2 alternatives for primary, secondaries are Slay the Warlord, Linebreaker, First Blood assault, First blood shooting and tertiary is 1 choice of 3 options.

The Nurgle loss was me not positioning units well and really not knowing what I was doing as I hadn't fought them before. The GK list was a double NSF with 4 Dreadknights, a strike squad and Terminators arriving T1. Force and multiple Incinerators are the bane of my existence lol. I play this player a lot so knew to minimize how many units his templates covered, and to try and deny Force as best I could but not meant to be.

The 2 Wins came from foot Wolves (all that remained was a drop pod T5) and a mech BA (Storm Raven w/ Mephistoon and Dreadnought failed to arrive, I cleaned up the rest)

Well it sounds like you can write off the Nurgle loss as just poor play (and you'll know more next time so you should be fine). I'm curious what happened in your GK game. What'd you deploy/reserve? Like I said before, if you had some kind of reserve manipulation I think it'd be a safe bet to just null deploy and reserve everything except for the Corpsethief Claw, then hit him back really hard when all your reserves come in. I'd probably cut one of the fast attack venoms and maybe an ichor injector to get a bunker with comms for 75 points (and you get an AV14 building too).

I tend to run all splinter cannons on the Claw (partly because I like having a unit that shoots 30 shots lol) and also think full ichor injectors is overkill, 3 is probably enough. I've never really been a fan of haywire scourges, when there's no vehicles around they're pretty useless, I'd go blasters personally. But these are way way less important than getting the Comms Relay.
