So on Tuesday was my second game, which I won.(I'm 2-0!) It was against a Necron army at a bit above 1000pts. I went in with an Archon using a Huskblade shadow field, helm of spite and soul trap, I had 4 Incubi, Drazhar, 2 Venom with two splinter cannon each, 2 Ravagers, all with 3 dark lances, 5 Scourge with carbines and a splinter cannon, 10 Warrior, Syarbite, 1 with dark lance. My opponent was running a Necron army, which was far more difficult than I anticipated, my first battle was with a space marines player, and I was able to subdue them pretty easily, but the Necron units are so resilient, their special rule where they get revived, with a ghost ark, made the battle arduous, I took out his sniper squad with my incubi and drazhar, but for whatever reason, that was mildly hard, my Archon wasn't doing great, and if it wasn't for my ravagers, I would of been in a world of hurt. My units strength was having such a hard time of landing real hits, much less wounds. My general strategy was vehicles will be taken out by my ravagers easily, with the Venoms my close combat units would butcher any opponents, Drazhar's buff really helps out, and the warriors were generally there to try and wear opponents before the Incubi shred, and the scourges, were to just raise all around hell, mostly keeping strong melee at bay, its just seeing how tough his units were, my higher initiative was nice, but those guys would not die. Even my Archon was having issues hitting on his destroyer lord and Praetorian's due to two lucky rolls I instakilled his lord and praetorian about 2 rounds into the assault, basically I won from pure luck.

Any thoughts on how to deal with that? My next match is Tuesday against an Ork player, which his point value, he has 90 Boyz with only like 600pts for them all, I'm paranoid the Orks will have similar toughness of the Necron, I figure they use power claws and other low initiative gear, and would mostly destroy my incubi simply due to the high strength of their weapons, is there any specific things I should run to deal with units that have such high toughness? I was thinking I'd have to buy some Grotesques..

Sorry for noobish questions, I still am new, and took a bit of playing to really see how much influence toughness has on low strength,

No, the orks are not remotely resilient as the necrons.
You will need only more dakka (high rate of fire weapons, like... 2x splinter cannon on venoms).
Do not exaggerate with dark lances.

DO NOT TRY TO GO TO CLOSECOMBAT VILLAGE WITH THEM.

Take care if you see him load a unit of nobs with a maddok + warboss in a transport.
Those are 2 wound str 4 x2 +furious charge I 1 armour 4+ (he probably bought extra armor) melee freaks who will tear you a new one.

I have learned that Incubi are a pretty solid close combat unit, for dark eldar standards anyway. They have 2 big weaknesses however: 1) no plasma grenades. Loose initiative whena assaulting into cover. 2) They are a more specialist assault unit and die horribly to hoards, ie Orks and Tyranids. Do not go toe to toe with them, just shoot them.

I use Incubi for many reasons, but they are not the best all comers list type of unit. They are great against marnines, and maybe a few other specialty units. If you understand their limitations, you'll be fine. Grotesques, on the other hand, especially from the coven supplement, are great against almost any opponent. They do fine against Marines, and do excellent against hordes. If you keep your Incubi, and play them against Orks, just shoot the hords with as much splinter fire and razorwing fire you can

Alright, all have been noted. I do not have a very large DE army unfortunately, Basically two archons, drazhar 18 Incubi(Largely due to enjoying painting them, all weren't meant for play.) my ten warriors the 5 scourge 3 ravager 3 venom. I initially had the army planned out to be Kabal Eldar more or less for aesthetics, especially since I like the Eldar strategy of big time ranged fire, the Covens kind of gives the army a far different feel. Either way, I don't have much to go with, but I am trying to make a strategy around of what I have.

O_o how did u fill the compulsory 2 troops choice for the detachments we can take without splitting up the warrior squad into 5s.

If you want a super fun time vs orks (provided he goes melee crazy) take 3 units of incubi, stuff them in venoms. Give all of them a klaivex (rmb, he has rampage), push in drazhar in one of the units, one archon in another fully kitted out for melee , leave one archon out with a blaster to wwp in your scourges. Give the 2 warrior squads minimal  or no upgrades and stick them in cover, going to ground till they hit turn 5.
Now watch your 3 elite squads of dark space-elf samurais chop up those green gaijins or fail terribly doing so.
Also, give the venoms chain snares. If an ork tries to DoG it you still have 5++ aka 1/3 chance to outright yank him out of the board.

If your incubi survives till turn 4 they get furious charge and will go in with str 5 ap2 attacks.

If you really, really want to go ham with them, count as one of your ravagers as a raider. drazhar in it and as many incubi as you can, with a klaivex. Split the remaining guys into 2 squads with klaivex + cc monster archon and stick them in 2 venoms.
Spare venom goes to a lucky warrior squad.
The other one will just camp on some objectives.
scourges do their thing with haywire or blasters (HL cant instant death an ork) if you want to shoot down nobs.

Oh and, rmb his warboss can call for a wagh which lets him run and charge at the same turn, also rerolling for charge. That means he can move 6 via transport, disembark 6, run and then charge, meaning he can enter cc village with you from a minimum of 30''.

Fortunately the Warhammer group that is at this store is very casual and say its fine to only have one, so its not an issue, though I plan on buying another squad of warriors, given that I get enough money.
