The color scheme is indeed actually very simple! Black, Silver, Red, Skin and Bone, BUT for each color i've used 5 different layers including washes and drybrushing and on top of that piled a crap of blood over them because, well they should look like a "freakish spectacle" Razz

The Silver and Blood is an interesting combination - it actually makes it quite hard to pinpoint the original colour, if you see what I mean.

Could you tell me how you did their skin?

I find skin a bastard to paint at the best of times. Suspect

What I actually do for the metal is that after I'm done I cover it with Reikland Fleshshade or Seraphim Sepia to have it appear a bit rusty/bronze/semi gold-ish which really seems to work well in combination with blood on top of it.

As for the Skin I use this combination in this order:

Rakarth Flesh - Base
Pallid Wych Flesh - Layer (I dry brush this)
Reikland Fleshshade - Shade
White Scar - Layer (I dry brush this)

And then I add some spots of Carroburg Crimson to make certain parts appear more irritated and I often end up covering the entire thing with Nuln Oil just to make it appear filthier and then I apply more blood. Always more blood Razz

That's actually because I basecoat and fully paint the parts while they are still inside the sprue. This has some advantages and those moldlines as disadvantages.

I get around that by choosing the middle ground.
I break the model down into easy to paint components, build them, paint them and then fully assemble them after painting.
So you can get rid of most mold lines and apply greenstuff to close gaps while still having an easier time painting.
