Hi. Does someone use mixed scourge weapons? (2 haywire, 2 blasters)

I don't, don't think I've ever seen it suggested either.

biggest problem here is threat ranges. The scourge weapons are all different ranges and style of threat, so mixing weapons means you're not getting the most out of the unit.

To use the above example, the haywire scourge wants to be 24" bang on away from its target (23.5" if you're safety conscious like me. That's because this range minimises any incoming fire from other weapons. The heat lance scourge however wants to be 9" away from vehicles or 18" away from infantry to make the most of its weapons.

Explaining the reasoning behind that statement - if you have 2 HWB and 2 HL on a scourge unit that's 20" away from the vehicle target, 2 of your specialist vehicle killers can't fire, and there's a very decent chance that the 2 HWB you've got won't kill it (assuming it's at full health). If you move into 18" range the heat lances can now fire, but on average won't pen a vehicle - you still have the same problem with the haywire shots. So you move into 9" range, you now have 4 fully activated anti tank shots, but at only 9" range if the target is a transport, you're going to be in rapid fire/assault range from the passengers and there's no guarantee you'll destroy it even so (1 miss, 1 failed pen is not uncommon).

By maxing out the weapons you bring, the heat lances should be guaranteed a statistical average penetrating hit at least, and you can account for the fact they'll be close in to the enemy. The haywire scourges can stay out of retaliation range, and gradually wreck the vehicle over 1 or 2 turns before moving on to the next.

I know the heat lance and haywire are too different in range for being useful together. My question was for a blaster-haywire mix. Because they have a weapon range similar (even if haywire have a little longer range).

4 haywire-blasters have an average of 2.2222 hull points (on any vehicle without cover/ jink /etc. )
why take the blasters for an av propose? as on average they perform less than haywire at an a.t. role. the only plus the blasters have over the haywire s is that they can critically damage (crew shaken, stunned, etc. ) a vehicle. but if your opponent  brings out no vehicles at all the haywire blasters are basically worthless.
and if you are planning on taking down infantry/mc's with your blasters you could have not upgraded your scourge at al and used your stock carbine's. besides in you 2 haywire 2 blaster unit the 2 hawire's would be wasted firing at infantry.

Killing a tank is great, but silencing it for a round, if you fail to destroy it is still worth it. Having blaster allow the possibility.

And if you go against TEC, or MC oriented army, with very few tank, you don't have a useless unit.

I started with two Heat Lances, a Haywire Blaster and a Splinter Cannon, but changed to four Haywire Blasters as soon as I had the bits for them. With mixed weapons, they are doing everything only half as good as they potentially could.

I'm generally not for using Blasters on Scourges, since Haywire Blasters are just more effective against vehicles and I don't really want my Scourges to get into firefights with MEQs.

I'm using 2 lances 2 haywires but mainly because of model limitations! Had to rip off two splinter Cannon arms already. With their jump move I haven't found the mixed range too much of an issue.

Remember than Dark Lances are heavy weapons though. If you move with them, you can only snapfire. That's very counterproductive on Scourges.

Mixing scourge weapons is a lot like mixing your drinks. A bad idea
