Well, +1ld for 10 points is not bad. If you have 10+ man units, I would take them.

I've never found it worthwhile, to be honest (not for the Ld, anyway).

In my experience, squads tend to take either heavy fire (hence heavy casualties) or no/negligible fire. In both cases, Ld is generally irrelevant because my squad either isn't taking enough damage to warrant Ld tests, or is taking so much fire that it's obliterated anyway.

The only time I take sergeants is if it's a melee squad and I'm putting a character with it (so that I have someone to accept challenges).

It's nice if your transport is stunned or wrecked. It's a purpose...however I don't take them myself Wink

If only the Sybarite could buy some sort of an awesome weapon for himself, like a Dissie, then he would be instantly worth it.

That said, I'd run warriors in 20 man blobs with splinter cannons and shredders, teleported in via webway portal held by haemy into some nice cover. (5+ fnp on 20 guys can absorb plenty of fire, and on the turn it arrives obliterate a single target)
